The San Diego Padres already host some of the biggest sports names in the world as they have gotten to spending in recent seasons. Even though they haven't gotten off to the best of starts here in 2023, the Friars are still one of the more popular clubhouses in baseball and have consistently been selling out Petco Park whenever they have home games.

Then you factor in their most recent trip to Mexico City where our stars have been able to put on a show for them thus far. The fans have been bringing the energy as they know how special it is to welcome an esteemed franchise into their community.

However, it is not just the fans who have shown love to the Friars during their historic series against the San Fransisco Giants.

Rey Mysterio is one of the most respected and iconic professional wrestlers of all time. He has won a total of 24 championships between the WWE and WCW and he is most well-known for always rocking his iconic "Lucha Libre" mask in order to conceal his identity from the world.

Mysterio made sure to gift every member of the Padres a custom mask to go with the special jerseys they were wearing for the weekend.

Take a look at them down below

This is also not the first time our Gaslamp Guys have connected with stars from another sport.

Everybody is well-aware of the famous celebration that Manny Machado and the rest of Padres hit whenever they get a double.

Rising NBA star Mikel Bridges was also using the celebration all season long with the Brooklyn Nets and he made sure to shoutout Machado for it.

You love to see the Padres connecting with other sports.
