The San Diego Padres are scratching and crawling to find their way back to the winning ways we all expect them to be. They are taking it game by game, and we are seeing signs of what this team can be when it starts clicking.

We're not sure when or how it will be done, but one thing is for sure, the Padres duo superstars Manny Machado and Fernando Tatis Jr. are hitting their stride in the month of June. The guys are balling, as Padres radio host Sammy Levitt provided us with a tidbit on the superstar's insane stretch of baseball.

Machado was struggling mightily at the start of the season. He was nowhere near his MVP form that he was in 2022, and fans grew concerned with his play. And as if things couldn't get any worse, he injured his left hand, causing him to miss some games along the way; however, that could've been the best thing to happen to him. He entered the IL for the first time since 2014, giving him time to reflect and find out what might've been going wrong for him. Manny did just that, and that's a big reason why he's been so dominant as of late. In Manny's past seven games, he's slashing .345/.387/.517 with 10 hits, six runs, one home run, and two RBIs in 29 ABs.

As for their young superstar, Tatis Jr., it's been a rollercoaster ride for him in 2023. As we all know, he missed the first 20 games of the season as he was dealing with the suspension of PEDs from last season that lingered into 2023. However, all that is behind Tatis and his play is showing that. His numbers for June as insane, and as of June 11, the Padres are 6-4 this month, thanks partly to Fernando.

The two superstars are doing their part in turning this season around for them and landing where we all expect them to be. We can't wait to see what else this duo has in store for us.
