The San Diego Padres are getting set for their final game against the Los Angeles Dodgers this season, looking to win their first series against their division rival in two years.

They'll have to do it without two of their best players, however, as both Manny Machado and Xander Bogaerts are out of the lineup for the series finale on Wednesday night.

Machado has been dealing with tennis elbow which has forced him to DH for the better part of the last month. After hitting two home runs on Monday night and playing on Tuesday, he's fully out of Wednesday's lineup — not even just DHing.

As for Bogaerts, he's getting a day off for the first time since the end of June. He's had an up and down year in his debut season in San Diego, and fouled a ball off his shin on Tuesday before going down in immediate pain. He was able to stay in the game, but it's unclear if that had any correlation to him being out today.

Here's the full lineup for the Padres against RHP Ryan Pepiot of the Dodgers.

Blake Snell is taking the mound in LA looking to add to his NL Cy Young campaign. Here's the full stats on both pitchers this season:

First pitch for Wednesday's game is 7:10 p.m. PT.
