San Diego Padres ace is inching closer to his return to the Friars, and that all starts tonight. The Padres' triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas announced their starter for tonight's game in Sacramento, and he's someone you might've heard of.

That's right. All-Star starting pitcher Joe Musgrove will start for El Paso tonight. We're unsure how long he'll go, but this is an excellent sign for the Padres and their fans.

Look at how excited Friar fans are about their ace finally getting some action on the mound.

Musgrove will be starting alongside the Padres' other star player, Fernando Tatis Jr. Tatis is inching closer to returning from his 80-game suspension. On the other hand, Musgrove is recovering from a fractured toe that he suffered in the weight room. He was placed on the 15-day IL before the start of the regular season and is expected to come back in their series against the New York Mets.

As for tonight, we're hoping for a good outing for the big-right hander. Go get 'em, Joe!
