Blake Snell is about to be a very rich, or rather, even richer man.
After a Cy Young-caliber season, Snell is sure to sign a top-dollar contract in free agency — although likely not in San Diego. However, Snell might not even be the top pitcher in free agency.
The left-hander received a scathing review for his overall body of work this year and has one analyst a bit skeptical about Snell's earning power.
