A depleted Padres bullpen led to a Giant comeback that ended with a splash.

The Giants erased a 4-2 deficit in the ninth inning and Mike Yastrzemski smacked a home run into the Bay to beat the Padres 7-4 in the first of a four game series.

The Padres' bullpen was short Monday night with Luis Garcia walking two batters and allowing a hit en route to the 2 runs given up in the ninth. A tough loss for a night that seemed to be going the Friars' way.
