It was a tough weekend series for your San Diego Padres. Actually, it was a tough week for the Pads. San Diego only came up with two wins out of seven games last week, and almost all of them were ugly.

They only came up with one win in their weekend home series against the Milwaukee Brewers, and it was all capped off in a 1-0 loss on Sunday. The loss was terrible; however, the way it ended was even worse, as Padres outfielder Trent Grisham was on the wrong side of history.

I know, it sounds made up; unfortunately, it's not. In a key Ab, the most important AB in the game, and Grisham keeps his bat on his shoulder instead of swinging at the ball. The whole week went from bad to worse for Padre fans after that as it was a very winnable game for the Friars.

Padre fans were not happy with the stat or how Trent approached that last AB.

The Padres are in a funk, but that could all change as early as today for San Diego. They'll look to dust it off, move forward, and get back to .500 once again.
