Things could not have worked out better for Fernando Tatis Jr. than they have so far this season. He obviously was not able to start off the year with the San Diego Padres officially due to his suspension not being over until just a little over a week ago.

However, he was granted the opportunity to begin his return process all the way back in Spring Training. Nando then went on to dominate the competition in AAA El Paso and clearly show the league he was ready. The Arizona Diamondbacks had the pleasure of being the clubhouse that he faced in his first series back and since then, it's been a pretty smooth reacclimatization process.

A .243/.282/.432 slash line is not the prettiest but he also hasn't played Major League Baseball since 2021. However, he's already had big games like the two go-ahead singles to put away the Chicago Cubs along with a home run against the San Fransisco Giants in their first match in Mexico City.

Speaking of Mexico City, it looks like there haven't been many members of the Padres who have been enjoying their trip as much as El Niño.

He has been spotted all over town and is really looking to make the most of this opportunity that really never comes during the regular season. The community has come together to welcome the team during their stay and aside from a couple of suspect statues, they have done a great job.

A viral video has captured the 24-year-old superstar hanging out on a boat and raising a glass to all of the Padres fans he came across. Talk about being a man of the people.

Tatis touched on exactly what life in Mexico City has been like following San Diego's 16-11 win on Saturday and started off with his boat ride.

"It was a nice slow drive, there was mariachi and Padres fans in my boat," said Tatis. "We had great food, it was amazing. We went on the boat, a lot of Padres fans out there... we had a great time. I love it, I love it."

We are confident these vibes will continue for the rest of their trip.
