Padres superstar Juan Soto is one of the best hitters in the league. The 24-year-old burst onto the scene at 19 and immediately established himself as a superstar player. 

Soto has always been known more for his offensive prowess than his defensive prowess, but last night in their match against the Braves, he made a timely catch that could be ranked as the year's catch.

The timing, the effort, everything Soto had to do to make that catch went right, and boy, was it phenomenal. 

The Padres lost the game, but you can't deny how spectacular that catch was. Tied 6-6 with runners at the corners and two outs, if that ball gets passed Soto, the game ends earlier than it did.
