The Philadelphia Phillies will host the Colorado Rockies for the second game of a four-game series on Friday evening at Citizens Bank Park.

The Phillies dropped Thursday night's contest in 5-0 fashion and managed to record just five hits. Starter Matt Strahm pitched a strong 5.1 innings of three-run ball, but his offense left him hanging.

That loss has exemplified Philadelphia's season as they have either won with authority, or lost as their bats have gone completely cold. The Phillies are missing stability and consistency within their lineup and rotation. Perhaps the return of Bryce Harper and Ranger Suarez can help right the situation in the coming weeks.

Aaron Nola takes the mound for the Phillies on Friday as he looks to turn in a solid outing against what was a struggling Rockies squad.

First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET.

Friday's game will be televised on NBC Sports Philadelphia in the Philadelphia market. It can be streamed on MLB.tv for those not in the media market.
