The Philadelphia Phillies can use all the help and support they can get right now as the look to turn the ship around.

So, how about a surprise visit and show if support from Matt Rife, the viral social media sensation currently breaking records and box offices with his performances?

That's exactly what happened on Sunday when Rife appeared at Citizens Bank Park just before Philadelphia took on the Los Angeles Dodgers in a rubber match. A game they would go on to win 7-3 and take the ever-important series.

Just before the game Rife posed with Phillies superstars Bryce Harper and Trea Turner as all three donned a Phillies jersey.

Could Rife be Philadelphia's new calling card? His appearance did coincide with one of the biggest wins of the season so far.

The Phillies are known for playing up their celebrity connections, perhaps Rife will be the next one.
