The Philadelphia Phillies and the Arizona Diamondbacks have set their batting orders for Game 1 of the National League Championship Series against on Monday at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

The Phillies will start Zack Wheeler on the mound, while the Diamondbacks will start Zac Gallen.

The Phillies and the Diamondbacks have never met in the postseason. Philadelphia is appearing in its 10th NLCS since it first appeared in it in 1976. The Phillies have won the NLCS six times — 1980, 1983, 1993, 2008, 2009 and 2022.

They’ve won the World Series twice — 1980 and 2008.

The Diamondbacks are in the postseason for the first time since 2017, when they reached the Division Series before losing to the Dodgers.

The Diamondbacks will be making their third appearance in the NLCS. In 2001, the Diamondbacks advanced to the NLCS for the first time and defeated Atlanta, 4-1. They won the World Series, beating the New York Yankees in seven games.

In 2007 the Diamondbacks faced the Colorado Rockies and were swept.

The Phillies won the season series with the Diamondbacks, 4-3.

There were no surprises in either lineup, as both started the same lineups they started in their last NLDS games.
