The Philadelphia Phillies put on a show in Game 2 of the National League Championship Series, blowing out the Arizona Diamondbacks 10-0 in front of a raucous crowd.

The night was full of memorable moments.

Trea Turner hitting another postseason home run. Kyle Schwarber hitting two bombs that lit up the stadium. Aaron Nola pitching yet another gem.

But maybe the most memorable moment was when one of the Phillies' favorite players in clubhouse got into the game.

Garrett Stubbs normally has the best seat in the house to watch this star studded roster compete.

He's leading dugout celebrations and making sure the vibes are right before and after the games.

On Tuesday though, the backup catcher got to see his first postseason action in a Philadelphia uniform.

"I was screaming throughout the dugout, 'Hey, guys! I’m going to go out and play!' We were winning 10-0. We could have been losing 10-0 when I went out there, you know?" he said after the game.

Manager Rob Thomson decided to put him in for everyday catcher J.T. Realmuto in the ninth inning and provided a memory for him he won't forget.

"It was so fun," Stubbs said. "They got on their feet with two outs. They’re wanting the game to end. They know a win is coming. So, yeah, it’s pretty cool. Because in the regular season you don’t really get that same exact vibe unless it’s a tight game."

Thomson wanted to make sure that he got Stubbs an opportunity this time around after Realmuto caught all 150 innings of last year's postseason run.

"I felt bad last year that we went the entire postseason -- he was the only guy that didn't play, and I felt bad because he is such a big part of our clubhouse. He's such a great team guy that I just felt awful, and it took me a while to get over it really," the manager said.

Stubbs relished his opportunity to get playing time.

He still has yet to record a postseason at-bat and doesn't think that it will come, but who knows, if the Phillies put together another performance like they had in Game 2, maybe he'll finally get that coveted plate appearance.
