The Philadelphia Phillies have dominated the National League Championship Series so far after a massive victory in Game 2 over the Arizona Diamondbacks shows how scary this offense is for opposing teams.

The Philadelphia Phillies have been absolutely dominant all postseason long.

They were looking to follow up their win on Monday to take a commanding series lead on Tuesday night.

After Zack Wheeler was lights out, it was up to the Phillies' second ace, Aaron Nola, to deliver the same type of performance.

The NLCS was a struggle for him last season against the San Diego Padres.

That wasn't the case on Tuesday.

Nola was absolutely brilliant, throwing six scoreless innings, allowing only three hits and striking out seven batters.

There was a chance things could have gone off the rails early when Corbin Carroll, the first batter of the game, reached base on a fielding error by Trea Turner.

But the ace delivered, striking out two in a row and then inducing a pop out to end the inning.

Nola didn't allow a hit until the top of the fourth inning, then handed things off the bullpen after the sixth as they kept the shutout alive.

Philadelphia was waiting for an offensive explosion and they got one.

Turner kicked things off in the first inning with a solo home run. Schwarber hit one of his own in the third and sixth.

Then, the floodgates opened, as the Phillies posted back-to-back four-run innings in the sixth and seventh.

Every starting hitter in the lineup, except for Johan Rojas and Nick Castellanos ,who was intentionally walked and had a sacrifice fly, got a hit in the game.

It was a complete offensive performance for Philadelphia as they secured a 10-0 victory and are now up 2-0 on the Arizona Diamondbacks in the best-of-seven series.
