Philadelphia Phillies rookie Weston Wilson joined two exclusive clubs in his Major League debut on Wednesday against the Washington Nationals.

Wilson hit a home run in his first MLB at-bat, which came in the second inning. His solo home run gave the Phillies a 4-0 lead.

He became the first Phillies rookie to do that since Marlon Anderson did it on Sept. 8, 1998. Per MLB.com, he is the 134th player to hit a home run in their first MLB at-bat, and the last to do it was Toronto’s Davis Schneider, who did it on Friday.

But that’s not all for the rookie. Later in the game he stole a base. That’s where things get more exclusive.

Per MLB.com, he became the first Phillies rookie to hit a home run and steal a base in their first MLB game. He also became the 13th player in MLB history to do it in the game’s modern era, starting in 1901.

The Phillies called Wilson up from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday after nearly 2,900 at-bats in the minor leagues, after the Brewers selected him in the 2016 MLB Draft. The injury to Brandon Marsh opened up a spot on the 26-man roster.
