3B Josh Jung (10-Day, left thumb fracture, Aug. 7, eligible to return): Jung was cleared to resume baseball activities on Thursday.

OF Adolis García (10-day, right patellar tendon strain, Sept. 8, eligible to return Sept. 18): He is with the Rangers in Cleveland and the team hopes he can be activated next week.

P Max Scherzer (15-day, strained right teres, Sept. 13, eligible to return Sept. 28): Scherzer will not return in the regular season and is “unlikely” to return if the Rangers make the playoffs, per Rangers general manager Chris Young.

P Josh Sborz (15-Day, left hamstring strain, Sept. 5, eligible to return Sept. 20): The Rangers placed Sborz on the injured list to make room for Nathan Eovaldi.

INF Brad Miller (60-Day, hamstring tightness): Miller was moved from the 10-day injured list (Aug. 2) to the 60-day injured list to make room for Evan Carter on the 40-man roster. Miller cannot return this season.

P Jacob deGrom (60-Day, right elbow inflammation): deGrom is out for the rest of the 2023 season after being diagnosed with a torn UCL ligament. He had surgery on June 12.

LHP Brett Martin (60-Day, shoulder surgery): Martin had surgery on Jan. 18 and is expected to miss most of the 2023 season.

RHP Jake Odorizzi (60-Day, right arm fatigue): Odorizzi underwent arthroscopic surgery on his shoulder and will miss the entire 2023 season.
