Rangers Injury Report

3B Josh Jung (10-Day, left thumb fracture, Aug. 7, eligible to return): Jung his making remarkable progress and Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said there is a chance that Jung could be ready for game action next week.

P Josh Sborz (15-Day, left hamstring strain, Sept. 5, eligible to return Sept. 20): The Rangers placed Sborz on the injured list to make room for Nathan Eovaldi.

INF Brad Miller (60-Day, hamstring tightness): Miller was moved from the 10-day injured list (Aug. 2) to the 60-day injured list to make room for Evan Carter on the 40-man roster. Miller cannot return this season.

P Jacob deGrom (60-Day, right elbow inflammation): deGrom is out for the rest of the 2023 season after being diagnosed with a torn UCL ligament. He had surgery on June 12.

LHP Brett Martin (60-Day, shoulder surgery): Martin had surgery on Jan. 18 and is expected to miss most of the 2023 season.

RHP Jake Odorizzi (60-Day, right arm fatigue): Odorizzi underwent arthroscopic surgery on his shoulder and will miss the entire 2023 season.
