Texas Rangers first baseman Nathaniel Lowe and outfielder Adolis García are among the Top 100 players in all of baseball, per MLB.com.

The site is unveiling its Top 100 Players Right Now list, with the next set of rankings for Nos. 41-60 to be unveiled on Wednesday. That’s followed by the unveiling of Nos. 21-40 on Thursday and the rest of the following week.

Lowe, ranked 70th, was not ranked last year. He had a breakthrough season in 2022, becoming the first Rangers hitter in a half-dozen seasons to hit at least .300 in a season (he finished at .302). He had 26 doubles, three triples, 27 home runs, 76 RBI and 74 runs scored.

He was twice named the Rangers Player of the Month, won his first Silver Slugger award and was named the Rangers Player of the Year by the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the Baseball Writers Association of America.

García, ranked 99th, was also not ranked last season.

He built on a breakthrough 2021 with a .250 batting average, along with 88 runs, 34 doubles, five triples, 27 home runs and 101 RBI. He was one of two Rangers in 2022 (along with Marcus Semien) to have at least 25 home runs and 25 stolen bases in a season. He also became just the sixth player in team history to accomplish that feat.

Pitchers and catchers have their first workouts in Surprise on Wednesday. Position players like Lowe and García report on Feb. 20. The Rangers play their first Spring Training game on Feb. 24 against the Kansas City Royals.
