The Texas Rangers have set their pitching rotation for their three-game home series with the Boston Red Sox, which starts Monday at Globe Life Field.

Rangers left-hander Jordan Montgomery (9-11, 3.62) will be opposite Red Sox right-hander Kutter Crawford (6-7, 4.26) at 7:05 p.m.

Montgomery won his last start on Wednesday at the Toronto Blue Jays, giving up four hits and one walk in seven innings. He also struck out three. In his last seven starts, he is 2-2 with a 3.67 ERA, with 33 strikeouts and eight walks in his last 41 2/3 innings.

Crawford took a no-decision in his last start against the New York Yankees on Monday. He gave up just three hits and one earned run in 4.2 innings. He also struck out seven and walked three. He’s coming off a seven-game stretch in which he is 1-2 with a 6.00 ERA, with 33 strikeouts and 14 walks in his last 30 innings.

Rangers right-hander Nathan Eovaldi (11-4, 2.96) is going Tuesday in Game 2. Boston counters with right-hander Tanner Houck (5-9, 4.94) for the 7:05 p.m. start.

Eovaldi went 3 1/3 innings in his last start against Toronto on Thursday, but he was relatively effective. He gave up three hits and two earned runs, along with three walks. He also struck out three. It was his third start since returning from the injured list for more than a month.

Houck won his last start against the Yankees on Thursday. He shut out the Yankees over six innings, giving up four hits and three walks while striking out seven. It was one of his most effective starts of late, as he is 2-4 with a 4.08 ERA in his last seven starts, with 31 strikeouts and 13 walks in that span.

Rangers right-hander Jon Gray (8-8, 4.05) is lined up for Wednesday finale at 1:50 p.m. The Red Sox send right-hander Brayan Bello (12-9, 3.71) to the hill.

Gray is coming off another truncated outing, as he only pitched 3 2/3 innings at the Cleveland Guardians on Friday. He gave up seven hits and three earned runs, along with two walks. He also struck out three. He is 1-3 with a 4.58 ERA in his last seven starts, with 39 strikeouts and 14 walks in his last 35 1/3 innings.

Bello took a no-decision against Toronto on Friday. He gave up four hits and three earned runs in six innings, with one walk. He also struck out 10. He’s taken the decision in each of his last seven starts (4-3), with a 3.89 ERA. He has 36 strikeouts and nine walks in his last 39 1/3 innings.

The Rangers have Thursday off before starting a critical three-game series at home Friday against the Seattle Mariners.
