The Boston Red Sox had some representation when Major League Baseball announced their most prestigious awards Thursday night.

New York Yankees hulking right fielder Aaron Judge unsurprisingly took home the American League Most Valuable Player award after putting together one of the finest offensive seasons in MLB history.

Judge finished 2022 with 62 home runs and 131 RBIs while slashing .311/.425/.686.

St. Louis Cardinals first baseman was named the National League MVP after hitting .317 and smashing 35 home runs and driving 115 runs in.

Although no members of the Red Sox took home last season's MVP award, the team was represented despite a lackluster regular season by Boston. Shortstop Xander Bogaerts finished ninth in MVP voting with 50 points and third baseman Rafael Devers wasn't too far behind at No. 14 with 10 points of his own.

Bogaerts led the way for Boston slashing an impressive .307/.377/.456 to go along with 15 home runs and 73 runs driven in. The four-time All-Star also was named a Gold Glove finalist.

Devers was impressive himself, finishing the year with 27 long balls and 88 RBIs while hitting .295.

Bogaerts and Devers have shined for the Red Sox for years and 2022 was no different. For all of the success the pair had in 2022, there are plenty of questions surrounding them heading into 2023 and beyond.

The Red Sox reportedly have made progress with both of their stars, but as of right now, who knows how long they will be in Boston if any longer. But all-in-all, Bogaerts, and Devers were the two bright spots for Boston in 2022.
