The Boston Red Sox have some decisions to make.

Boston enters Tuesday night's contest against the Seattle Mariners losers of each of its last four games and six of its last seven contests. The Red Sox's bullpen has been a strength for the club so far this season but has dealt with some hiccups lately.

The club's bullpen will look a little different Tuesday night when the club takes on the Mariners as the team is expected to call up two relievers from the minor leagues, according to MassLive.com's Chris Cotillo.

"The Red Sox are expected to add not one, but two relievers to their bullpen mix before Tuesday’s game against the Mariners," Cotillo said. "In addition to replacing righty John Schreiber, who is expected to be placed on the 15-day injured list after leaving Monday’s loss with lat tightness, the Red Sox will also have to replace lefty Brennan Bernardino on the active roster. Bernardino was seen hugging and shaking hands with teammates after the game and was indeed optioned to Triple-A Worcester, according to a baseball source."

Schreiber has been impressive for Boston so far this season with a 2.12 ERA in 18 appearances so far this season but suffered a lat injury in Monday night's loss against the Mariners. Bernardino also has been impressive but reportedly was optioned down to the minor leagues Monday night.

Now Boston will make two additions to the club. Righty Kaleb Ort has plenty of big-league experience and could be an option, but has compiled a 7.30 ERA for Boston in 12 appearances so far this season. One person that would make some sense, but Boston would have to add him to the 40-man roster, could Andrew Politi. The 27-year-old has compiled a 3.31 ERA in 15 appearances so far this season and likely will join the big league club at some point this season.

Another option could be lefty Oddanier Mosqueda, although Boston may not want to add another lefty with Joely Rodriguez back in the fold. If the Red Sox were to add Mosqueda, they also would need to add him to the 40-man roster. If Boston opted players already on the 40-man roster, a few players that may make sense are Brandon Walter, Chris Murphy, or Justin Garza.

With Ryan Brasier designated for assignment, Bernardino sent down to the minors, and Schreiber injured, Boston's bullpen certainly will look different Tuesday. Hopefully, it can get back on track, as well.
