The Reds lost to the Phillies 9-4 on Tuesday night. It rained for most of the game.

Graham Ashcraft got his first start of the season. He fared well, giving up two runs and four hits in six innings. He finished with five strikeouts and one walk.

Both runs came off the bat of Bryce Harper. The Phillies star had three home runs, including a grand slam. He finished 3-for-4 with six RBI. Harper hit two solo home runs against Ashcraft, before hitting the grand slam on a 3-2 pitch from Brent Suter.

That gave Philadelphia an 8-1 lead, which ended any hopes of a comeback. The Reds scored two runs in the ninth to make the loss look more respectable, but they fall to 3-2 on the season.
