Game Preview: Reds Look to Win Series, Face Braves on Wednesday Night
The Cincinnati Reds (74-78) rallied from four down on Tuesday night to beat the Atlanta Braves (81-70) 6-5.
On Wednesday, they face off against the Braves in game two of the series.
Jakob Junis will take the mound for the Reds. The right-hander has a 2.73 ERA on the season and has given up just two runs over his last 17 2/3 innings pitched.
Junis was in the trade from the Milwaukee Brewers involving Frankie Montas.
Spencer Schwellenbach will get the start for the Braves. The 24-year-old is 6-7 with a 3.73 ERA this season.
In his last start, the right-hander tossed six innings of two-run baseball. He allowed just four hits and struck out six.
Game two between the Reds and Braves will start at 6:40 ET on Wednesday.
