Cincinnati Reds Promoting Top 10 Prospect Chase Petty to Triple-A

Petty has been really good over his last nine starts.

The Cincinnati Reds are promoting Chase Petty, their #8 ranked prospect, to Triple-A Louisville.

Petty went 10-5 with a 4.39 ERA this season with Double-A Chattanooga but has been much better over his last nine starts.

In those nine starts, the right-hander has an ERA of 3.14, a FIP of 2.95, and opposing hitters are hitting just .179 against him.

Petty was acquired from the Twins in the Sonny Gray deal and is still just 21-years-old.
