The Reds lost to the Milwaukee Brewers 7-2 on Wednesday night. They fall to 6-6 on the season.

Check out the good, bad and ugly from the loss:

The Good

Elly De La Cruz hit another home run. It was his third of the series. He is hitting .318 on the season so far. He hit 2-for-3 on the day.

Buck Farmer pitched in one inning and had two strikeouts. He gave up a walk but didn’t give up a run or a hit.

The Bad

The best the Reds can do now is tie the Brewers in this series.

The Reds only had four hits on the day. You have to hit better to win games like this especially when you’re giving up multiple runs in the first inning.

The Ugly

Hunter Greene had his worst performance of the season. He pitched six innings and gave up all seven runs.

High-level prospect Jackson Chourio beat the Reds all night long with multiple at-bats that ended with an RBI. He went 1-for-3 with two RBI and two runs.

Christian Yelich hit a first-inning home run that led to the domination they faced later on in the game. Yelich had been an issue for this Reds team all series long. He is exactly what De La Cruz is to them.
