Brandon Williamson Suffers Torn UCL, Will Undergo Tommy John Surgery

CINCINNATI — The Reds placed Brandon Williamson on the 15-day injured list on Wednesday. Unfortunately, he suffered a full UCL tear and needs Tommy John Surgery according to Mark Sheldon of MLB.com.

Williamson only appeared in four games this season. He suffered the injury while pitching on Tuesday night against the Braves. Watch video of the injury here.
