In this story:

Brandon Williamson made his first rehab appearance for Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday night since June 2.

He pitched 2 2/3 innings, allowing one hit and one walk, but didn't allow a run. He finished with four strikeouts.

Williamson has been out all season with a shoulder injury he suffered in spring training.

The left-hander made 23 starts for the Reds in 2023 and was 5-5 with a 4.46 ERA.

The Reds are hoping Williamson will be ready to make at least a start or two by season's end.
