Cincinnati Reds Make It Official, Activate Noelvi Marte From Suspension

CINCINNATI — The Reds activated Noelvi Marte on Thursday afternoon. The 22-year-old served an 80-game suspension to start the season.

Marte struggled during his rehab assignment in Triple-A. The Reds are banking on him to make an instant impact.

The Reds optioned Livan Soto to Triple-A and transferred Emilio Pagan to the 60-day injured list.
