Cincinnati Reds Place Nick Lodolo on Injured List
CINCINNATI — The Reds placed starting pitcher Nick Lodolo on the 15-day injured list on Tuesday. The left-hander has a blister on his finger that he tried to pitch through, but clearly the team wants him to let it heal.
It's unfortunate for the Reds. Lodolo has been their best starting pitcher this season. The Reds recalled Yosver Zulueta from Triple-A Louisville. The reliever gives their bullpen a boost.
Hopefully Lodolo doesn't miss any more time. The rotation is much better with him pitching every fifth day.
