Cincinnati Reds' Reliever Getting Closer to Big League Return

In this story:

The Reds sent Ian Gibaut to Triple-A to start a rehab assignment. He's been dealing with forearm issues and has missed the entire season to this point after undergoing surgery in May.

Gibaut, 30, has a 9-6 record in two seasons for the Reds, posting a 3.75 ERA in 107 games. We'll see if he makes it back to the big leagues this year. Regardless, it's a step in the right direction for the veteran reliever.
