In this story:

CINCINNATI — The Reds were hoping Rece Hinds would give them another power bat in their lineup when they promoted him from Triple-A earlier this week.

Hinds has exceeded any and all expectations. The 23-year-old continues to set records in his first week in the big leagues.

Hinds hit a home run in Saturday's game against the Marlins. That makes him the first player in MLB history to have eight extra base hits in his first six games.
