Cincinnati Reds Signing Reliever Bryan Shaw to Minor League Contract
CINCINNATI — The Reds are signing reliever Bryan Shaw to a minor league contract according to MLB insider Robert Murray.
Shaw reunites with Reds manager Terry Francona. The veteran played for Francona for seven seasons in Cleveland (2013-17, 2021-22).
The 37-year-old is signing a minor-league contract. He has a 43-46 career record with a 3.96 ERA and 681 strikeouts in 764 1/3 innings.
