CINCINNATI — The Reds traded outfielder Austin Slater to the Orioles according to C Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic.

It was their final move in what has been a busy two days for the front office. By moving Slater, they clear a roster spot for Ty France, who should be activated in the near future.

The Reds traded for Slater earlier this month. He posted a .111 average in eight games. Infielder Livan Soto was also sent to Baltimore in the deal.

The Reds will receive a player to be named later or cash considerations in the deal.
