Jeff Brantley Makes Bold Declaration After Cincinnati Reds Hire Manager Terry Francona
CINCINNATI — The Reds officially hired Terry Francona to be their manager on Friday.
Jeff Brantley made a bold declaration following the news.
"Who won the offseason? Let me tell you something. We're not even in the offseason, and the Reds have already won (the offseason)," Brantley declared in an interview with WLWT's Charlie Clifford.
Francona has won two World Series Championships and been Manager of the Year three times. The Reds are hoping he can bring in a new era of baseball in Cincinnati.
