The Cincinnati Reds need to improve their outfield this offseason. A key detail was revealed about a player who should be at the top of their Christmas list.

Anthony Santander is reportedly seeking a five year contract this winter, according to Jon Heyman of the New York Post.

Santander would be the outfielder the Reds need. He could slot in the cleanup spot and solidify this lineup. He hit 44 home runs last year and has 105 total over the past three seasons.

The 30-year-old is expected to get $17.7 million per season according to Spotrac. It is possible he gets more than that, but that number and the reported contract length Santander is looking for should not be prohibitive to the Reds.
