CINCINNATI — The Reds are exploring the idea of Matt McLain moving to center field.

The 25-year-old played in center on Tuesday afternoon in the Arizona Fall League. McLain seemed to adjust nicely to the change.

McLain hit a home run, plus had an outfield assist in his debut in center. He played center field in college and is reportedly willing to move to the outfield permanently this offseason. He's spent his entire professional career at second base and shortstop.
