CINCINNATI — Another veteran outfielder is off the market.
Jurickson Profar has agreed to a contract with the Atlanta Braves according to Jeff Passan.
Profar was a possible free agent target for the Reds. He's signing a three-year, $42 million deal with the Braves according to Bob Nightengale.
Profar slashed .280/.380/.459 last season with a wRC+ of 139. He struck out in just 15.1% of his plate appearances. He finished with 53 extra-base hits and 10 stolen bases.
There's an even better chance that the Reds stand pat and don't add an impact outfielder with Profar off the market.
