CINCINNATI — Reds starting pitcher Nick Lodolo won't pitch again this season.

The 26-year-old hasn't pitched since Aug. 22 and will miss the rest of the year after suffering a middle finger sprain.

Lodolo has been effective when healthy, but he's missed significant time over the past two seasons.
