In this story:

The Reds are rumored to be interested in KBO infielder Hye Seong Kim. Kim is considered to be a great defender and won a gold glove at second base last season.

He has slashed .304/.364/.403 over his career in the KBO. In 2024, he hit .326 with an OPS of .841. He also had great speed in which he showed off with his 30 stolen bases last season. The KBO is the highest level of Korean baseball.

The Mariners, Angels, Padres, and Blue Jays are the other four teams rumored to be interested in Kim.

It's unclear if the Reds are truly interested in him, but it would be an intriguing offseason addition.

Kim has to make a decision by Friday, so we should find out more information later this week.
