Tampa Bay Rays Make Trade With Baltimore Orioles Ahead of Showdown With Cincinnati Reds

CINCINNATI — The Rays are trading starting pitcher Zach Eflin to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for three minor leaguers. Ken Rosenthal was the first to report the news.
The Reds play the Rays on Friday night at 6:50 p.m. ET. Cincinnati is hoping to get back in the playoff race.
Tampa Bay moves a starter in exchange for three prospects. The MLB trade deadline is Tuesday, July 30 at 6 p.m. ET.
Trade news: The Baltimore Orioles are acquiring right-handed starter Zach Eflin from the Tampa Bay Rays, sources tell ESPN.
