Cincinnati Reds Place Key Piece of Starting Rotation on Injured List

The injuries continue to pile up for the Reds.

CINCINNATI — The Reds placed Andrew Abbott on the 15-day injured list due to a left shoulder strain. It's unfortunate news for the 25-year-old starting pitcher.

He has a 3.72 ERA in 138 innings this season. The Reds also added right-hander Alan Busenitz from Triple-A Louisville.
