It is officially official: The Minnesota Twins will be back on Bally Sports North for the 2024 season.

The Twins and Diamond Sports Group, which operates the Bally Sports regional network, announced Monday that the one-year deal will keep broadcast rights with Bally for one more season. What happens after the 2024 season is anyone's guess.

It's unclear how much Diamond Sports Group will pay the Twins for the rights.

The bottom line is that Minnesota fans will need a cable or streaming subscription to watch the Twins on those respective platforms or the Bally Sports app. The only streaming services that offer Bally Sports North are DirecTV Stream and Fubo.

Twins games will not be carried on the $20-a-month standalone subscription app Bally Sports Plus, which currently shows Timberwolves, Wild and Lynx games.

Cable and satellite providers that offer Bally Sports North include, among others:

  • Comcast Xfinity
  • Charter Spectrum
  • MidcoTV
  • XTREAM via Mediacom
  • DirecTV

Here are the current subscription prices for the app and streaming services that offer Bally Sports North:

  • DirecTV Stream: $108.99/month
  • Fubo: $79.99/month

Bally Sports North is not offered on streaming services like YouTube TV and Hulu.

"Looking beyond this short-term resolution, the Twins remain fully committed to expanding the reach and accessibility of our telecasts and other team-related content," said Twins President and CEO Dave St. Peter.

Will MLB give Twins viewers the in-market streaming they crave in 2025?
