Two years ago, Jose Trevino hit an emotional walk-off hit to help the Rangers to a Father’s Day victory. Tears in his eyes, the new father said all he thought about at the plate was his own dad, who had passed four and a half years before. Jose’s Father Joe fell into a coma while Jose was in college, with the last words he said to his son being “No matter what happens, you've always made me proud. I'm proud of you and I love you, man." Years later as Trevino was called up to the show by the Rangers, he remembered his dad’s coaching and helped his team to a Father’s Day win with an emotional walk off hit.

SI’s Chris Halicke recounts the story two years later, as Trevino told him “Obviously, I want to win a World Series. ...But if I had to say that was the biggest moment of my baseball career, I'd be totally fine with that."
