Yoenis Cespedes Hits First Homerun in 2 years

After going 0-2 vs the Atlante Braves on his 3rd at-bat- Cespedes hit a homer- the first one in over two years.

The New York Mets slugger Yoenis Cespedes was back in the starting lineup on Friday for the first time since July 20, 2018.

After going 0-2 vs the Atlante Braves on his 3rd at-bat- Cespedes hit a homer- the first one in over two years. He has now homered in 3 straight games going back to May 13, 2018.

The rule change of designated hitter universal plus the pandemic delay really worked in favor of the Mets.

Cespedes hadn't had a competitive at back in years and - and I"m pretty sure the cardboard cutouts went crazy for this one!
