New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers Are at the Top of World Series Odds

SI's Frank Taddeo and Max Goodman break down the two teams topping the list for World Series odds

New York and Los Angeles remain the heavy favorites to win this year’s World Series but there’s two other teams seeing a major movement in their odds.

Before the shortened MLB season started the Yankees and Dodgers were listed as +600 favorites to win this year’s World Series. Those odds have seen a slight decrease as both teams are now listed at +350. Meanwhile both the Cubs and Twins opened the year at 20-to-1 are now listed at 10-to-1. The Oakland Athletics are another team seeing some adjustments in their odds. The A’s started the year at 30-to-1 but are now listed at 14-to-1. One team going in the wrong direction is the Boston Red Sox who were originally listed with odds of 12-to-1 but are now at 500-to-1. Sports Illustrated’s gambling analyst Frank Taddeo and the editor of InsideThePinstripe Max Goodman discuss the updated odds to win the World Series.
