In a joint statement the teams shared, “Throughout our country’s history, sport has been a powerful vehicle towards change, “The Dodgers and Giants proudly join our players in the shared goal for a more equitable and just society.”
The NBA, WNBA, and MLS have all postponed games on Wednesday in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake in Wisconsin
The Milwaukee Brewers and Cincinnati Reds decided to postpone their game on Wednesday as well.
