Braves win Game 1 vs Dodgers and take 1-0 Series Lead in NLCS
Braves broke the game open in the 9th inning with multiple home runs.
The Atlanta Braves have done it- they ended a 9 game winning streak for the Dodgers beating them 5 to 1 and taking a 1-0 series lead in the NLCS. Atlanta Broke the game open in the top of the 9th inning starting off with Austin Riley. The 23-yr-old put the Braves on top hitting his first postseason home run.
The runs didn’t stop there though, Ronald Acuña Jr. hit a double and Marcell Ozuna sent him in making it a 3-1 Braves lead. As the Dodgers tried to keep it a two-run game, Ozzie Albies sent one deep hitting a 2 run homer, giving the Braves a 5-1 lead.
Game 2 of the series is scheduled for Tuesday night.
