The Los Angeles Dodgers entered their third World Series in the last four years to face the Tampa Bay Rays, beating them 8- 3 in Game 1.
Tyler Glasnow made his first career World Series start for the Rays and was solid until he gave up a two-run homer to Cody Bellinger in the 4th inning. The Dodgers tacked on four more runs in the fifth inning, forcing manager Kevin Cash to go to his bullpen.
As for the Dodgers, Clayton Kershaw picked up the win with a pretty dominant performance. The veteran left-hander pitched six innings, had 8 strikeouts, one walk, and allowed just two hits and a homer. Kershaw is now 3-1 in the postseason.
