Owen Schoenfeld

Owen Schoenfeld lives in Chicago and is a graduate of McCombs School of Business at UT Austin. He has been writing about the Chicago White Sox for seven years, first at the FanSided Network where his work was regularly featured on Sports Illustrated, Bleacher Report, and Fox Sports and then at his own media company The Loop Sports, where he wrote and produced podcasts about the White Sox for three years while also covering Chicago's minor league system for FutureSox. Now at South Side Hit Pen, Owen's primary focus will be on looking at the business side of baseball, including contract/trade analysis, commentary on front office personnel, as well as coverage of the team’s branding, social media, and ballpark activation efforts.
