The New York Yankees could still use some help in the bullpen.

New York at one point was linked to superstar closer Josh Hader but didn't end up getting a deal done. The Houston Astros signed five-time All-Star to a sizable deal.

The Yankees have been linked to multiple relievers this offseason and recently landed Caleb Ferguson in a trade with the Los Angeles Dodgers but still could use another arm or two.

One intriguing player who could end up being traded is Milwaukee Brewers superstar Devin Williams, according to MLB.com's Mark Feinsand.

"The Brewers are still the team to watch on the trade front, especially after they traded (Corbin Burnes). Devin Williams and Willy Adames are the two notable players in Milwaukee who could still be dealt, with Adames -- who is slated to become a free agent at the end of the season -- the more likely of the two.

"Williams, who won the 2023 Trevor Hoffman Award as the NL’s top reliever, is under club control through the end of 2025, but with young fireballer Abner Uribe waiting in the wings to take over the closer’s job, the Brewers could trade Williams to address other areas of need on the roster."

New York recently was floated as a possible option to land Williams and trade would make a lot of sense. He has been an All-Star each of the last two years with Milwaukee and has developed into one of the top relievers in baseball.

Williams has a career 1.89 ERA in 219 total appearances over the last five seasons and hasn't recorded an ERA over 2.00 in a season since 2021. New York could use another reliever. Why not attempt to acquire one of the best?
